The location was marvellous and brilliant - ease of access to an art museum. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable, reasonably priced, with bath, the bedroom, as example. We really enjoyed this hotel and would definitely go back when in Funchal.

Our junior suite with a luxury bathroom was new-fashioned. We had a roof top view and a balcony, a coffee table, and a large sofa.

It has marvellous and comfortable location in the restaurant including the reception desk. It's at a moderate distance from Ateneu Cafe, I tried nice desserts there.

The breakfast was exceptionally good with the cooked dishes and meats, as for instance, so much to pick from. The staff were eager to help, they care about everyone. The hotel was in a very central location to the cable car.

Had outstanding stay for holidays. The breakfast was fresh made and served in the dining area with plenty of food. The room was brand-new, tastefully decorated and had a storage, a mini-bar, and a balcony. All of the staff were incredibly helpful, well-trained. The location was best possible and strategic, on a number of occasions in the Funchal area, and the view was unbelievable, too. And I enjoyed that it was very close to the centre of the old town.

The restaurant here was very nice for dinner, we both ordered excellent dishes. It was decent size with nice touches and a coffee table and a large sofa. Knowledgeable, empathetic staff, were eager to help.

No complaints, the hotel suited the needs. The breakfast of this place was substantial and fresh for vegans, enjoyed it.

This hotel was ideal and absolutely gorgeous in every respect, had amicable staff with champagne to the wonderful food and bars offered within the property to the OUTSTANDING spa staff.
